System Administration & Workspace Engineering Intern

Location:  San Mateo, CA 

NextLabs is looking for summer System Administration and Workplace Engineering - Intern candidates. This is an unpaid internship position that requires 40 hours of commitment per week. You will work alongside top-notch people with excellent education and experience backgrounds. As an intern you will learn about and become involved in the ongoing development and improvement to our IT System. You will assist in support that managing all helpdesk requests and NextLabs product deployment, but not limited to, hardware, VPN user access and phone system support. You will also gain hands on experience in performing day-to-day Monitor and maintain network, virtual workstation, server and other networking equipment.

Successful candidates will have completed their sophomore or junior year and be working on a degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related area at an accredited College or University. The person will be familiarity with the computer system, networking systems and scripting. Candidates will need to be self-starters, able to work independently at times and have strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
