Keng Lim is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of NextLabs. As CEO he is responsible for the vision, leadership, strategic direction and successful growth of the company and its employees. IDG Demo recognized him at the DEMOfall 2009 with a Lifetime Achievement Award together with 15 other technology luminaries for their significant contribution to the advancement of technology. Mr. Lim is credited for his contribution in the Web & SOA technologies, ecommerce, SaaS, and information security software.

Mr. Lim is a proven entrepreneur and has built a distinguished executive management career in Silicon Valley. Over the last 20 years, he has built reputable internet and software companies, including Approach Software, Kiva Software, Netscape, Escalate, and Sygate Technologies. He has been recognized by several key organizations as one of the industry’s “most influential people on the Internet” for the creation and advancement of the Application Server product and market.

Prior to NextLabs, Mr. Lim played a central role in launching Sygate Technologies, a leading provider of enterprise endpoint security enforcement software, with its founder Chris Guo in 1998. Mr. Lim served as Chairman until its acquisition by Symantec Corp. in 2005. Mr. Lim also founded Escalate in 1999, and grew it into a leading multi-channel order management and ecommerce ASP company. Red Prairie acquired Escalate in February 2011. Prior to Escalate, Mr. Lim joined Netscape in 1997 as Vice President and General Manager of the Application Server & Web Infrastructure Products Division. He drove a large part of Netscape’s core infrastructure software business — application server, web server, business process, content management, JavaScript, and Java development tools – and played a key role in transforming Netscape from a browser company into an infrastructure software company. Mr. Lim joined Netscape through its acquisition of application server pioneer, Kiva Software which Mr. Lim founded in 1995 and served as Chairman and CEO. At Kiva, he was credited as one of the inventors of the Java application server. Mr. Lim pursued his first startup, Approach Software, a desktop database software provider, which Lotus acquired in 1993, and began his career with Oracle Corporation.

Mr. Lim holds a bachelor’s degree with high distinction majoring in Computer Science and Civil Engineering from the Ohio Northern University, and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a member of the Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi.

Mr. Lim is a holder of over 45 approved and pending patents in the internet and information security-related area.

Roger Wigenstam is the VP of Product Management and is responsible for our Strategy and Product Roadmap. Before joining NextLabs, Roger was Senior Director of Product Management for Identity & Access Management at Oracle. He has over 15 years of experience in enterprise software leading highly successful product management, engineering, and architecture teams. Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in System Analysis & Design from University of Karlstad in Sweden.

Jiunn Lim, NextLabs VP of Engineering, Platform

Jiunn Lim

Vice President of Engineering, Control Center and Microsoft Office System Applications

Jiunn Lim is the Vice President of Engineering for Control Center & Microsoft Applications. Prior to joining NextLabs, Jiunn served as Vice President of Engineering at Equilar where he was responsible for Equilar’s software development, QA, and IT efforts. Before joining Equilar, he was Vice President of Development at Healthcare Systems & Technologies, LLC. Jiunn has over 20 years of experience building highly secure software and large-scale transactional management systems. Jiunn holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Washington.

Yuen Pin, NextLabs VP of Engineering, Rights Management

Yuenpin Yeap

Vice President of Engineering, Rights Management

Yuenpin is the Vice President of Engineering for the Rights Management solution. Prior to NextLabs, he was a Director of Engineering at Websense, where he managed multiple teams across multiple regions and was responsible for all Websense Endpoint products. Before joining Websense, Yuenpin led the Sygate/Symantec teams that produced Symantec Endpoint Protection software. Yuenpin has been working in the software industry for 22 years. Yuenpin has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from University of Louisville.

Rajesh Rengarethinam, VP of Engineering

Rajesh Rengarethinam

Vice President of Engineering, SAP Products

He has been an integral part of the product development team at NextLabs for the last seven years, including Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.  He has been instrumental in establishing the Solution Extension partnership with SAP for the NextLabs products.  He has over 17 years of application and product development experience. Rajesh’s experience includes global implementation projects at Nike and Intel.  Rajesh has a B. S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University, India.

Tapas Das

Vice President of Product & Solution Engineering

Tapas Das is the Vice President of Product and Solution Engineering and is responsible for Customer Solutions, Data Classification and PLM products. Tapas has over 20 years of experience in various software engineering and management roles in diversified industries including enterprise security, R&D, telecommunications, and PC OEM software. Prior to NextLabs, his roles included solution engineering & development management at Dell, NewsTakes, Kent Ridge Digital Labs and product management at Encentuate.

Tapas received his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Master’s degree from National University of Singapore

Larry Jia

Larry Jia is the General Manager of the China Development Center. Prior to joining NextLabs, Mr. Jia served as Senior Director of Engineering at WebSense/Raytheon responsible for its web, mobile and cloud security products software development, QA, and product management. Before joining WebSense/Raytheon, Larry was GM for mobile internet and security companies Seven Networks China and Visto/Good technologies in China and was cofounder and CTO of SureKam. Mr. Jia has over 20 years of experience in software, networking, mobile, cloud and security. He holds a MS and BS in computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technologies (BIT), Beijing, China.

Patrick is the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Prior to joining NextLabs, Patrick was the Vice President of Sales West at Cloudera. He contributed significantly to the company’s sales growth and most recently achieving over $100 million in fiscal year 2015 revenue. While at Cloudera, Patrick and his team closed some of the most strategic customer deals in the history of the company with Fortune 500 enterprises. Prior to Cloudera, he served in various sales leadership positions at enterprise software companies including Moxie and BMC Software.

Mark has over 25 years experience in International sales and sales leadership, spanning multiple verticals. Mark joined Nextlabs from Imprivata, a leading healthcare IT security company, where he spent four and a half years as Vice President of International Sales leading, developing and building the foundations for substantial growth through to IPO and subsequent acquisition.

Prior to Imprivata Mark spent 9 years at Hitachi Data systems (HDS), a global IT solutions provider, where he established, developed and expanded the healthcare vertical as a solutions business leading an international team, with responsibility over the strategic direction of activity in the region. Mark is a fellow of the Association of Professional sales (APS) and has also held senior sales positions at EMC and Memorex in previous years.

Jill Rubin is the Vice President of Marketing. Her team is responsible for all areas of marketing including corporate, product, solutions and strategic alliances. Jill has over 20 years of experience leading successful teams in enterprise marketing at high tech companies including Sun Microsystems, Vitria, Trizetta and MindTouch. Prior to coming to Silicon Valley, she worked on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs. Jill received her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Krista Kendall, NextLabs VP Finance & Controller

Krista Kendall

Vice President, Finance and Controller

Krista Kendall is responsible for maintaining the General and Administrative operations of the company, including Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Legal and Purchasing.

Ms. Kendall has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, ranging from Big Four public accounting to early stage software companies. Prior to NextLabs, Ms. Kendall was Controller for endpoint security provider Sygate Technologies, where her key responsibilities included G&A policy creation and implementation, contract negotiation and revenue recognition, GAAP compliance and company planning and reporting. Before Sygate, Ms. Kendall was Sales Controller at Baan, where she supported the North America sales organization. Prior to Baan, Ms. Kendall worked in management for CRM software provider Aurum Software through its IPO and subsequent acquisition by Baan.

Ms. Kendall is a CPA and is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
