Demand Generation Manager

The Role
Exciting times are afoot at NextLabs. The Demand Generation Manager role is a highly visible one with huge potential impact. It’s not a role for the timid. If you’re into big-time challenges with a lot of upside, this could be the role for you. You’ll be responsible for the creation, execution, and optimization of demand generation programs. You’ll drive top of the funnel activities and push those leads down the funnel. The ideal candidate will operate calmly in chaotic environments, exhibit impeccable attention to detail, work efficiently – and to do all of this with humility and a sense of humor.


  • Work closely with Sales to achieve pipeline and bookings goals
  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies to generate demand, qualified leads, pipeline, and bookings
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders to create campaigns that align with company objectives and adjust accordingly
  • Manage the day-to-day execution, optimization, and reporting of marketing campaigns
  • Track and manage the performance of the lead funnel, including follow-ups and MQL/SQL conversions
  • Assess campaign performance and recommend improvements
  • Develop copy for emails and landing pages and perform A/B testing as necessary
  • Manage relationships with external vendors (e.g., SEO agencies)
  • Manage and participate in trade shows and conferences, including post-event follow-ups
  • Manage the logistics of hosting a webinar (creating a landing page, sending invites, setting up the webinar platform, etc.)
  • Manage our social media presence, including blogging and posting to the company’s LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook accounts
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, etc.


  • 3+ years of demand generation experience
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce, marketing automation tools (Pardot, Marketo, etc.), and SalesLoft
  • Proven track record of successfully creating, executing, and managing lead generation campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Not afraid to take the initiative and “run with it”
  • Results-oriented mindset where you’re comfortable with data-driven decisions
  • Works well individually and as part of a team
  • Able to collaborate with and manage external vendors (e.g., SEO agencies, graphic designers, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of B2B demand gen programs, including lead lifecycles and nurture programs
  • B.A. in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study

Bonus points

  • Web development, HTML, or scripting skills
  • Proficient with Adobe InDesign
  • Power user of social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, blogs)
  • Working knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
