We are looking for a talented Web Developer with excellent communication skills to contribute to our web design activities. The successful candidate must be adaptable, possess a strong can-do attitude, and be capable of working on a number of assignments in parallel.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with marketing team
- Testing and improving the design of the company websites
- Keeping up to date with websites technology and development
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
- Incorporating new functionalities and features into the website to make it more user-friendly, effective and appealing
- Digital retouching and image editing
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to maintain the appearance of the website
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, GIMP, Inkscape or equivalent visual design tools
- Specializing in using PHP and WordPress is a must
- Good understanding of SEO
- Good understanding of Swiss Style and Material Design
- Creative, obsessed with good design practices and an eye for detail
- Strong communications skill
- Design experience with multiple platforms and cross-browsers – desktop, tablet and mobile devices is a plus
- Background in user experience design and knowledge of usability is a plus
